Dave Coonrod is the former presiding commissioner of Greene County, Missouri, from 1994 through 2010 and was an associate commissioner from 1989 to 1994. He also worked as a Greene County planner and was founding director of the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks.

Dave has served on the Judicial Finance Commission for the State of Missouri and represented Greene County in the County Commissioners Association, Missouri Association of Counties, Southwest Missouri Association of County Commissioners, Urban District Alliance, The Good Community, James River Basin Partnership, Discovery Center, Springfield Landmark Preservation Trust, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Natural History Museum of the Ozarks, Ozark Counseling Center, Springfield Business and Development Corporation and Solid Waste District O.

He is a graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a bachelor’s degree in environmental geology and a master’s degree in resource planning.
