Jennifer Ailor, APR, ABC, is ONE's coordinator and executive director. She has more than 30 years of corporate communications and business writing experience and is an accredited public relations professional through the Public Relations Society of America and accredited business communicator through the International Association of Business Communicators.

Currently a business communication freelancer through Ailor Communications, Jennifer was the director of communications for BKD, LLP, a regional public accounting firm headquartered in Springfield, Mo., for nearly 23 years. She also was an advertising writer for Paul Mueller Co., Springfield, Mo.; corporate editor for United Telecom (now Sprint), Overland Park, Kan.; public relations coordinator for Trinity Lutheran Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.; and high school journalism teacher. She periodically teaches a writing class at Missouri State University, Springfield, and contributes articles to various publications. She also is assisting Renew Missouri with its petition drive to put a new renewable energy standard on the November 2012 ballot.

Jennifer is member of PRSA, White River Group Sierra Club, Greater Ozarks Audubon Society, Nature Conservancy, Master Naturalists (2012 president) and Master Gardeners (2012 vice president).

She has a B.S. degree in English and journalism education, magna cum laude, from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg; M.A. degree in English, from Western Illinois University, Macomb; and M.S. degree in journalism from the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
